- Abstract
The article presents the case study of 14-year-old woman who was admited to the Kawaguchi Municipal Medical Center to have intensive hyperglycemia examination in Kawaguchi, Japan. According to the patient's medical history of severe motor and intellectual disabilities (SMID) attributed to shaken baby syndrome. She requires complete enteral tube nutrition and home mechanical ventilation.
