- Abstract
We consider the process of moisture propagation in a soil massif with thin inhomogeneous inclusions, which can be regarded as a partial case of geochemical barriers. The dependences of the parameters of moisture transfer of a thin inclusion on the moisture content and solution strength are taken into account by modifying the conjugation conditions. We construct the corresponding nonlinear mathematical model on the basis of which we formulate a boundary-value problem for the system of parabolic equations in the class of discontinuous solutions. The approximate solution of the problem is constructed with the help of the finite-element method. As a result of numerical experiments, we reveal the differences between the jumps of moisture content in passing through thin geochemical barriers obtained with the use of the classical and modified conjugation conditions.
