- Abstract
The article presents commentary on the issue's supplied case study on the marketing of fetal tissue donation and research and its public image and legislative challenges. The particular difficulties inherent within the field regarding the public fears of medical ethics violations, such as the development of black market channels and increased abortion controversies are outlined. The interrelationship between public perception, procurement channel management, and government legislation is particularly discussed. It is suggested that the solution is to promote education and awareness into the distinctions of the research from popular fears, at both the personal and institutional levels.
