- Abstract
The article reports on antique-related mercury releases that happened in New York state during 2000-2006 which have been reported to the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR). Some measures to be taken to prevent accidental releases of mercury from antiques are presented. It was also stated that the reference values for acceptable limits of mercury in air have been set by several agencies including the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency for indoor living spaces.
