- Title
Is PrEP a realistic and ethical intervention for people who inject drugs?
- Authors
Gough, Chris
- Abstract
The article focuses on several studies which examine the use of pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) as a realistic and ethical intervention in addressing the transmission of HIV in people who inject drugs (PWID). Topics include the PWID PrEP programs, public health strategies focusing on PWID, and World Health Organization's (WHO) rejection of PrEP as an effective intervention for PWID due to insufficient scientific evidence and survey responses from affected community.
