- Abstract
The pathogenesis and clinical treatment measures of depression were briefly introduced, and the research progress of repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation(rTMS) in the treatment of depression was mainly analyzed from the aspects of neural mechanism and efficacy prediction in recent years. The treatment of depression using rTMS mainly by improving the abnormal connection of brain network was systematically introduced, and it’s found that the baseline connection of subgenual cingulate gyrus(SCG) cortex played an important role in the prediction of therapeutic effect of rTMS.At last, the shortcomings of the research on the antidepressant therapy of rTMS were summarized, then it’s pointed out that in the future, the selection of multimodal imaging predictors, rTMS parameter settings and the selection of brain stimulation targets should be emphasized so as to provide a new way to explore the antidepressant mechanism and improve the therapeutic effect of r TMS.
