- Abstract
This paper is a book review on a widely used foreign language education textbook titled Lessons From Good Language Learners. The book was compiled and edited by Carol Griffith. Commemorating Rubin’s (1975) seminal article by compiling 23 articles in this volume, Griffiths provides a comprehensive overview of learner variables in each chapter and familiarizes the readers with good examples of each learner variables. In addition, she offers a comprehensive review on each variable, which helps the reader to use this book as a reference or manual book. The book provides references and implications, addresses theoretical issues, and identifies the current gaps for future empirical research.
