- Abstract
In the article "Regulating the Gibbs Free Energy to Design Aqueous Battery-Compatible Robust Host," Dingtao Ma, Peixin Zhang, and their colleagues propose a targeted assembly concept for designing a robust host that is compatible with aqueous zinc-ion batteries. The researchers suggest that by coordinating interlayer reinforcement and interfacial defect repair, the Gibbs free energy of the host can be regulated, allowing for sustained operation across a wide temperature range. This concept could potentially contribute to the development of more efficient and reliable batteries.
