- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a one and half year old cachexic German Shepherd dog which was suffering with an acute onset of abdominal distension after food intake and respiratory difficulty. The dog was earlier diagnosed with exocrine pancreatic deficiency and undergoing enzyme replacement therapy. Extensive gas filled and dilated intestinal loops were revealed in radiography and abdominal ultrasound. Later, the animal was diagnosed with intestinal hypomotility.
