- Abstract
This article presents an editorial on the modeling of the genetic risk of breast cancer. Models predicting the likelihood of getting breast cancer have been used to determine eligibility for screening and prevention trials and in risk-reducing strategies. A study in this issue shows a limitation of genetic risk assessment modeling and suggests that the models must be refigured. Shortcomings of the available models are presented.
