Reiling, Jennifer
- Abstract
The article presents an excerpt of an article found in the December 9, 1905 issue of the "Journal of the American Medical Association." Physicians at a meeting of the New York State Medical Association discussed the possibility that cancer can be communicated from one person to another. Cancer is autoinfectious in that it can be transmitted from one portion of a cut surface in a patient to another portion of the incision.
