- Abstract
The article discusses Egyptian Egyptologists Rifa'a Rafi el-Tahtawi, Ali Mubarak, and Ahmed Kamal Pasha, who were sidelined due to Western prejudice and racism. It also includes Biblical connections as one of the motivating factors behind the choice of artefacts made by the founders of the Macclesfield collection. Information about an exhibition in the Nubia Museum after excavations at Qubbet el-Hawa by a multidisciplinary team is also presented.
