- Abstract
The article presents a study which examined the means to prevent fractures with optimal adherence compared with usual adherence in women with osteoporosis treated with daily and weekly bisphosphonates. It is stated that the difference between the two scenarios may improve adherence from a financial and clinical perspective. Statistical information on the monthly probability of discontinuation and medication possession ratio (MPR) compliance are revealed.
