- Abstract
The article presents case study of a 39 year old Malay lady with low grade fever for two days and restricted facial movement due to left and right sided weakness of her face. Results of physical examination indicated bilateral facial nerve palsy with House-Brackmann grade IV, However, Blood test, Pure tone audiometry and computed tomography was normal. Therapy with with prednisolone developed signs of improvement. It highlights the unknown etiology of Bell's palsy causing peripheral paralysis.
