- Abstract
The article offers information on the results of a 2008 survey conducted by Wi-Fi Alliance and Wakefield Research regarding the importance of wireless fidelity (Wi-Fi) access to college students in the U.S. The results show that nine out of ten college students said that Wi-Fi access is essential to education as classrooms and computers. About three in five students said they will not enroll in a college that does not provide free Wi-Fi and 79% believes that college will be harder without Wi-Fi.
