- Title
Human disease: Huge boost for genetics of cognitive disorders.
- Authors
Casci, Tanita
- Abstract
The article discusses the genetic sequencing of X chromosomes, which helps in the detection of cognitive disorder. It references the article "Deep sequencing reveals 50 novel genes for recessive cognitive disorders," by H. Najmabadi and colleagues in the September 21, 2011 issue of "Nature." It mentions that the study has mutated only two types of new genes which verify that there is no connection on the heterogeneous nature of intellectual disability and molecular defect.
