- Abstract
Aiming at the small difference in fault output voltage waveforms of series dual three-phase voltage source inverters using in wind power generation system, a fault identification method of inverters based on wavelet packet analysis was proposed. Firstly, the reason of using series double three-phase voltage source inverters as grid-connected inverters was expounded and the output voltage signals of the inverters under various open-circuit faults of IGBT switching elements were obtained. Then the output voltage signals were decomposed by wavelet packet. Finally, the output voltage’s signal after decomposition was analyzed by power spectrum method. The details of voltage signal are identified by spectrum characteristics, which solves the problem of fault detection caused by double three-phase voltage source inverters. The purpose of identifying various faults of series two-phase three-phase inverters by power spectrum was realized. The simulation experiment proves that this method has the advantages of high fault-tolerant performance.
