- Abstract
The article discusses on the rare bleeding disorder acquired haemophilia A (AHA). The diagnosis of the disease confirms the inhibitory antibodies and low factor VIII activity detected by Bethesda assay. The disease is characterized by the production of neutralizing autoantibodies to factor VIII. The treatment of AHA can be done through immunosuppressive therapy and prohemostatic therapy.
