- Abstract
An essay is presented on comparative effectiveness table of expected benefits and harms of treatment strategies. The author cites that the table facilitates the comparison of medical choices because the tradeoffs are categorically presented. He notes that the columns of the table are treatment strategies, while the rows are the good and bad outcomes that may happen as a result of the treatment choice. He states that one attractive feature of the table is that it emphasizes the role of certain patient features in the comparison of treatment.
