- Abstract
The article investigates the effect of the potentiation of AMPA receptor activity form anesthesia in mice following administration of the CX546 AMPAkine drug. Topics mentioned include the way the AMPA receptor potentiation enhances neuronal activity and prevents deficits in motor learning induced by repeated neonatal anesthesia, the efficacy of the drug in the amelioration of anesthesia-induced synaptic deficits, and reduction of the adverse effects of anesthesia.
