- Abstract
The article discusses a study on the prevalence of carbapenemsase-producing Enterobacteriaceae (CPE) carriers admitted to intensive care units (ICUs) in 11 acute-care Spanish hospitals from 7 different geographical areas. It advises for the implementation of guidelines for the management of the infection control measures to reduce MDR Gram-negative bacteria recommended by ESCMID.
