- Abstract
The article presents a study on the anionic copolymerization of diglycidyl ether of bisphenol A (DGEBA) with different Meldrum's acid derivatives with dimethylamino pyridine (DMAP) as an initiator. The overall curing process was examined and global shrinkage under anionic conditions was evaluated. The addition of 6,6-dimethyl-(4,8-dioxaspirol[2.5]octane-5,7-dione) MCP or 2,2,5,5-tetramethyl-4,6-dioxo-1,3-dioxane (MDM) to DGEBA using DMAP as initiator produced a decelerative effect.
