- Abstract
The article presents a subgroup analysis of the INCLUSIVE trial to assess the antihypertensive effectiveness and safety of irbesartan/HCTZ fixed-dose combination in normal, overweight and obese patients in an inclusive trial. Accordingly, the fixed-dose combination was well accepted and was found to be effective in patients irrespective of the baseline body mass index (BMI) or diabetic status of the patients. A chart is included that lists data regarding the trial.
