- Abstract
The article examines the structure and mass transport properties of polyurethane (PU) in nanocomposite adhesives obtained using an organically modified montmorillonite (OMM). It notes the use of x-ray diffraction to find out the basal distances of crosslinked PU nanocomposites. Results of the rheological analysis of polyol filled with OMM showed that the clay lamellar crystals act as weak physical cross linking points as the clay content increases.
