- Abstract
The article presents a study that aims to establish double straining technique of superoxide dismutase (SOD) and catalase enzymes at the same polyacrylamide gel. The study used nitro-blue tetrazolium (NBT) dye reduction and ferricyanide precipitation detection of SOD and negative straining of catalase. The study shows that the technique is used in monitoring variations of the two enzymes present in Deinococcus radiodurans R1 and Kocuria species C2.
