- Abstract
The article describes the case of a 59-year-old woman with uremia who experienced caffeine-withdrawal headache (CWH) induced by hemodialysis (HM). While being subjected to bicarbonate dialysis three times weekly with hemophane membranes, she complained of headache. Headache is the most frequently experienced neurological symptom during HD. The most distinguishing feature of her headache was prompt relief.
