- Abstract
Sixteen okra varieties were evaluated during 2013-14 and 2014-15 at Vegetable Research Farm, Institute of Agricultural Sciences, Banaras Agriculture University, Varanasi. Field study indicated that varieties HRB-231, Kashi Sathdhari, Kashi Lalima, Pant-A-4 and Hisar Naveen were moderately resistant, whereas, cultivars Pule Utkarsh, Azad Bhindi-3, No-315, Azad Bhindi-2, Kashi Lila, Pusa Sawani, and VRO-6 were found to be moderately susceptible. Cultivars Azad Bhindi-1, Varsha Uphar, Punjab Padmini, and Panjab-7 were most susceptible among all the screened varieties.
