- Abstract
Clinical diagnosis of a double primary sigmoid colon cancer and metastatic tumour using a gene-targeted panel test: a case report Another submucosal tumour-like tumor was located near the flat tumor and measured to be 3.5 × 3.5 cm, and this tumor was pathologically diagnosed as a lymph node metastasis (whiteline, yellow dashed line). gl These two sigmoid tumours carried completely different gene mutations, but there were some mutations such as I BRCA2 i which were shared between the SMT-like and lung tumour (Fig. Therefore, these sigmoid colon tumours were diagnosed as double primary sigmoid colon cancers and the lung tumour was diagnosed as a lung metastasis of the SMT-like tumour.
