- Abstract
Visible‐light‐driven water oxidation catalysis with a molecular manganese vanadium oxide, [Mn4V4O17(OAc)3]3−, is reported by C. Streb and co‐workers in their Communication on page 6329 ff. Turnover numbers and turnover frequencies of up to 1150 and 2 s−1, respectively, were achieved in this process. The cluster is chemically similar to the oxygen‐evolving complex, the photosynthetic water oxidation center in plants.
