- Abstract
In this article, the author opines on the research study conducted which reveals the impact of use of biologic disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs (DMARD) on the use of conventional DMARD in the treatment and prevention of Rheumatoid Arthiritis (RA). Topics discussed include treatment target of remission or low disease activity, hematologic abnormalities and cardiovascular diseases, and use of combination therapy, glucocorticoids and placebo for the study.
