- Abstract
This document is a letter to the editors of the Journal of Neurology discussing a case of RFC1-related disorder presenting recurrent syncope. RFC1-related disorder is a neurodegenerative disorder characterized by cerebellar ataxia, sensory neuropathy, and bilateral vestibular dysfunction. The patient in this case was an 81-year-old man who experienced repeated episodes of syncope. The letter provides a detailed description of the patient's symptoms and medical history, as well as the diagnostic tests conducted. The authors conclude that RFC1-related disorder should be considered in cases of autonomic dysfunction and syncope.
