- Title
Editorial Comment to Management of major venous bleeding during minimally invasive pelvic surgery: A proposed protocol for "What should we do next?".
- Abstract
Judging from numerous reports and decades of experience, there is no doubt that a smaller amount of blood loss is the main advantage of minimally invasive (MI) surgery over open procedures.1,2 However, intraoperative bleeding can occur even in laparoscopic surgery, and if it is not managed appropriately, it will cause great damage to the patient. In addition to knowledge, constant skill training is also important for surgeons to keep themselves always ready, particularly for intracorporeal suturing.
