- Abstract
Hintergrund: Gewaltprävention in der Pflege ist in den letzten Jahren verstärkt in den Mittelpunkt des politischen und gesellschaftlichen Interesses gerückt. In den vergangenen Jahren wurden zwar wissenschaftliche Studien durchgeführt und Präventionskonzepte entwickelt, dennoch gibt es keinen Hinweis dafür, dass die Prävalenz von Gewalt in der Pflege sinkt. Es ist nach wie vor von einem hohen Dunkelfeld auszugehen.Ziel der Arbeit: Die vorliegende Studie untersucht die Barrieren, die für den Transfer von Forschungsergebnissen in die Praxis hinderlich sind. Des Weiteren wird der Frage nachgegangen, wie ein Interventionskonzept aussehen muss, um praxistauglich zu sein und diese Barrieren effizient zu adressieren.Material und Methoden: Die Daten wurden über qualitative Interviews erhoben (<italic>n</italic> = 20) und inhaltsanalytisch ausgewertet.Ergebnisse: Es zeigten sich Unsicherheiten im Umgang mit Gewalt. Eine klare Gewaltdefinition fehlte in den Einrichtungen, und es war den Befragten häufig unklar, wo und wann Gewalt beginnt. Ein hoher Anteil der Befragten gab an, dass Gewalt im Pflegealltag in verschiedenen Formen auftritt, allerdings waren keine konkreten Handlungsstrategien vorhanden. Nur wenige Fälle wurden überhaupt dokumentiert. Des Weiteren wurde über einen Mangel an praxisnahen Fortbildungen berichtet. Die Sichtbarkeit dieser Barrieren eröffnet Ansätze zur Entwicklung von Präventionsmaßnahmen, die in der Praxis greifen.Schlussfolgerungen: Von zentraler Bedeutung für die Gewaltprävention in der Pflege sind u. a. ein gemeinsamer Gewaltbegriff, klare und verbindliche Standards, regelmäßige Fortbildungs- und Schulungsmaßnahmen.
