- Abstract
A total of 656 isolates of Blumeria graminis were collected from wheat and triticale plants in Poland from 2008 to 2011. In population from wheat high level of virulence to wheat were observed. Isolates from triticale had lover level of virulence to wheat than isolates from wheat. All isolates were avirulent to Pm21, only few were virulent to Pm29. In population from wheat lover level of virulence to triticale were observed than in population from triticale. To two triticale varieties: Grenado and Dinaro virulence were very low. Most isolates from wheat were virulent to 10, 11, 12 and 13 wheat cultivars. Avirulence isolates to triticale accounted for 51% of the population. Most isolates from triticale were virulent to 4 wheat cultivars, and to 6 and 7 triticale cultivars.
