- Abstract
The article discusses potentials of lovastatin in reducing erectile dysfunction (ED) risks in prostrate cancer patients undergoing radiation therapy treatments. Topics include common ED complications based on physician reported data, prohibitive cost of phophodiesterase-5 (PDE5) inhibitors medical treatment as well as studies on effectivity of 3-hydroxy-3methylglutaryl-coenzyme A (HMG-CoA) reductase inhibitors or statins in a non-radiation setting.
