The article discusses the state of the U.S. politics following the November 2014 election. Topics include the criticism of Richard Trumka, president of the American Federation of Labor and Congress of Industrial Organizations (AFL-CIO) over the Democratic Party's victory, the Richmond Progressive Alliance's support of candidates running for city office in Richmond, California against a slate owned by the energy company Chevron Corp., and the working-class issues in the Democrat's campaign.
