The article reports on a study that was conducted to examine the effect of ranibizumab on surgically induced endometriosis in rats. It mentions that endometrial tissue was implanted onto the abdominal peritoneum of rats. The study found that ranibizumab reduced the size of the endometriotic implants and caused atrophy of lesions in rats.
