- Abstract
The article discusses the findings of the study regarding the seroprevalence of Mycobacterium avium subspecies paratuberculosis (MAP) in elks in various areas of Korea. It states that paratuberculosis is a chronic infectious disease of domestic and wild ruminants and causes significant economic losses in domestic livestock. It mentions that the seroprevalence of MAP in elks was 11.5 per cent using a sensitivity of 64.7 per cent.
