- Abstract
The article offers information on the new species called Pinguicula (P.) lithophytica C. Panfet-Valdés and P. Temple found in the Macizo Mountains of Escambray in the Central Region of Cuba. It states the exposure of P. lithophytica's habitat to a hot dry and cool wet season. The species P. jackii was first cultivated by Harald Weiner in the 1980s. It says that both P. lithophytic and P. jackii need high levels of humidity.
