- Abstract
The article discusses the research on the use of quad bikes or all-terrain vehicle in the north-west Queensland for pastoral and outback industries with the goal of reducing injury and death. It mentions that change in attitude towards using helmets and protective clothing, allowing modifications to vehicles, using crush protection devices, and preventing children to ride adult-sized quad bikes, are needed to minimize risk in agriculture.
