- Abstract
The article discusses a study on the influence of native and nonnative wetland plants and their traits on the metamorphosis of three species of larval amphibians. It says that field cages were placed in several locations in New York where tadpoles of American toad, wood frog, and pickerel frog were put on the plant species which include two Lythraceae. Results verified by analysis of variance (ANOVA) showed that plant traits improve tadpole performance.
