- Abstract
The article focuses on the medical study Drugs and Infancy Study (DAISY), wherein psychiatric symptom profiles of mothers who used 3, 4-methylenedioxy-N-methylamphetamine (MDMA), an empathogenic drug, also known as Ecstasy while pregnant were monitored. Two groups of women one using MDMA and another ploydrug during pregnancy were compared. It informs that MDMA helped to reduce depression during pregnancy and the women also discontinued use of MDMA after one year.
