- Abstract
The article presents the authors' views on the study by physicians Steven Lehrer and Kenneth E. Rosenzweig on the impact of marital status on prostate cancer survival. The study involved patients with localized prostate adenocarcinoma who did not underwent surgery but received external beam radiotherapy and brachytherapy. The authors argue that physicians must learn about social and instrumental support available for patients to improve survival.
