- Abstract
The article discusses a report from the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) on factors associated with bullying among middle school and high school students in Massachusetts in 2009. Data analyzed is from the 2009 Massachusetts Youth Health Survey. Findings indicate that risk factors are more common among bully-victims than students categorized as bullies or victims, and that alcohol and drug use are associated with being a bully.
