- Abstract
The article presents a study which investigates on the formation kinetics of gold (Au) nanoparticles under the galactomannan polysaccharide matrix. The study used nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy to determine the gal ratio of the galactomannan molecules and the nanocomposites were produced based on the developed synthesis of metal nanoparticles in the polysaccharide matrices. It reveals that the yielded water-soluble Au/galactomannan composites contain 4.0-12.0% of stable gold.
