- Abstract
The article presents a case study concerning idiopathic orbital inflammation (IOI) in a 59-year-old woman with multiple sclerosis (MS). The woman has been diagnosed with MS for 11 years and had attacks of optic neuritis and recurrent ataxia. The authors discuss the non-specific causes of IOI which include Graves disease, Wegener granulomatosis and sarcoidosis.
