- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 14-year-old child presented with intermittent neck pain and gradually progressive weakness in right upper limb for 4 years. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) revealed herniation of the tonsils below the foramen magnum along with the brain stem herniation causing flattening of the medulla anteroposteriorly suggesting a Chiari malformation. It stresses the importance of recognizing Chiari spectrum to differentiate management and prognosis.
