- Title
Glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonists and fracture risk—limitations to current knowledge.
- Authors
Hygum, K.; Harsløf, T.; Langdahl, B.; Starup-Linde, J.
- Abstract
The authors discuss a report about the link between glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonists and a decreased fracture risk compared to users of placebo. Highlights include the limitation in the duration of the included trials, a potential decline in fracture risk caused by a reduction in falls, and the link of other minor fractures to falls and other trauma.
