- Title
Efficiency of energy transfer during exercise: what are the limiting factors?
- Authors
Banks, L.; Thompson, S.; Lewis, E. J. H.
- Abstract
The article discusses the limiting factors that adversely affect the energy transfer during exercise. It cites the 2014 studies by D. T. Cannon and colleagues and the 2008 studies by S. P. Mortensen on the topic, as well as the use of phosphorus-magnetic resonance spectroscopy (P-MRS) to quantify metabolites and the use of blood oxygen level-dependent functional magnetic resonance spectroscopy (BOLD fMRI) in measuring tissue perfusion in the leg.
