- Abstract
The article discusses the political influence of genetically modified (GM) and strongly opposed import companies on the aspects of biosafety decision makers in Africa. It notes the use of GM crops which has been the focus of the international controversy on grounds based on biosafety resulting in the set up of certain regulations in European and East Asian countries.
